Phiture’s ASO Tip of the Month:
Localization is critical in optimizing store listings and product pages for different languages and regions. But don’t overlook culturalization — understanding native audiences on a cultural level. For example: A gamified theme for app screenshots may perform well in Japan but might not resonate with US audiences. Approaches can vary by niche (e.g., VPN vs. streaming apps), but tailoring listings to cultural expectations often yields better results. Platforms like AppTweak, or user reviews and surveys can help identify effective culturalization strategies.
