Hi, we’re the Phiture team! We live and breathe mobile marketing. We’re experienced in our fields and passionate about what we do. Hobbies include keeping ourselves up-to-date with mobile marketing trends and sharing all we learn in conferences, books, podcasts and blogs.
A former game developer and Soundcloud Growth team leader, Andy comes equipped with an MBA, as well as diverse interests in technology, business strategy and frameworks. While all evidence would suggest that he is, in fact, smart, it has recently been brought to our attention that he is an unrepentant user of the Daily Mail Online App. He’s allowed to stay as long as he keeps helping Phiture clients with growth strategy.
Moritz built and sold 2 game companies before graduating with a Master’s in Law and - like co founder Andy - leading a growth team at Soundcloud. He’s the author of the Advanced ASO guide, and helps Phiture’s clients with their ASO efforts and growth consulting. Word on the street is that he’d be fairly useful in a Zombie App-ocalypse (*finger-guns*).
Pablo has a PhD in Innovation Management and taught entrepreneurship in London before joining Phiture to lead ASO efforts. Besides numerous day to day responsibilities, he still finds time to conduct mobile growth and optimisation research for clients. Currently the most embarrassing App on his phone is Coin Flip Plus, which makes sense when the Penny drops. If you see what we did there.
Australian Retention Lead Ed (street name: Skinny Slim) is a consultant specialising in mobile marketing automation. Previously head of lifecycle marketing at SoundCloud, he now helps apps increase retention while also fulfilling the role of Office DJ. If he could go back in time, he says he’d reconsider what he spent his bitcoins on.
With an MSc in Mathematics, and a stint as a senior analyst for a major New Zealand bank, Tessa applies invaluable logical and analytical thinking to identify data-driven growth opportunities for Phiture clients. She thinks that Air Buddy would be most suited to portray her in a movie about her life.
From the wild, forested region of Bretagne comes Aude, brimming with ASO experience and a hands-on approach. After a Master’s in Management and a mobile marketing-focussed thesis, she managed ASO at Bonial for French, American and German apps. We only know her as our cool, calm and collected Senior ASO consultant, but rumour has it she can turn a baguette into a deadly weapon.
Boasting an impressive list of achievements for his age, Kevin has honed his technical and strategic skills in various startups and environments all over Europe. A regular speaker at conferences involving Growth hacking, coding and marketing, he now works as a Growth Consultant for Phiture. Kevin has been known to build an App here and there - some serious, some named ‘PoopTime’. Yes, really. He is also an accomplished magician and hypnotist, skills which we don’t allow him to use on clients (but never say ‘never’).
There are many Maggies in the world. Our one, however, comes equipped with a Master’s degree in Marketing from Hong Kong, boundless enthusiasm and the ability to light a match with just her fingernail (winning!). Her experience and highly organised way of working make her a valuable asset to the Phiture Team (but as she admits, she wouldn’t much good fighting zombies, especially on a Monday morning).
First climate finance analyst for top worldwide financial institutions and the French Prime Minister Economy Planning Staff, Alexandre is also the founder of both a Parisian TEDx initiative and a European crowdsourced newspaper. Aside from studying Zen Buddhism and writing a collection of poems to which no zombie can resist, he now brings both tech and analytical insights to the benefit of Phiture clients.
English import Mathew has worked in numerous media, advertising and start-up efforts, and brings that valuable mix of experience into his role as ASO consultant. He loves graphic novels and is - apparently - an accomplished whistler. Neither of these things would make him any good in a zombie apocalypse, butz we’re keeping him anyway.
Phiture’s token American, Natalie is a born and bred midwesterner from the mean suburbs of Detroit. Graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in Economics and U.S. History, she now works for Phiture as a Growth Consultant and spends her free time Q.A.ing translation apps and rehearsing sick puns in the mirror. Currently tied with Andy for best dad-joke distributor at Phiture.
With an MA in management, and after cutting his teeth in the games industry, Binh joins Phiture as junior ASO consultant, where he will manage A/B testing and keyword optimisation. In addition to an interest in idea and content generation, Binh has has some experience in martial arts and archery, which explains why none of us has tried stealing any of his food from the Phiture fridge.
Hailing from South Africa, Stuart has an MA in Integrated Design and a design award or two under his belt. After racking up several years’ experience in advertising agencies, Stuart now helps Phiture’s clients to craft their visual storytelling in the App Stores. He’s also witty, devilishly handsome and definitely not responsible for writing these bios.
Hailing from Nagoya, Japan, our working student Azusa brings an impressive work ethic and an infectious attitude to the Phiture team. Having previously worked as a pastry assistant, a student tutor and an assistant e-commerce operator, she is currently studying for her Master’s Degree in Political and International Economics. Azusa claims that thanks to a beer discovery app called Untappd, she’s managed to enjoy around 2,000 unique beers in the last 3 years. We’re skeptical but nonetheless too intimidated to challenger her to a pub crawl.
Designer Graeme comes from down under, mate. He worked in print and illustration before arriving at Phiture with a suitcase full of talent and ideas. He makes sure that our clients’ work is beautifully crafted and considered. When he’s not weilding a Photoshop brush, he can be found drooling over high end Japanese Stationery. (As long as he keeps producing the goods, we’re not going to ask.)
Phiture’s much beloved ‘Happiness Manager’ is a business-economics generalist with a knack for problem solving. Although excellent at optimising processes, he would admittedly be mostly useless in a zombie apocalypse, seeing as he still can’t get used to the zombie in his bathroom mirror every morning.
Otas was born in Lithuania but has spent so much time abroad that his nationality is now TBC, and his work experience is as broad as he is tall (hint: you wouldn’t describe him as short). He previously worked as a front end developer and web-designer, but found it too slow paced (well, excuse us!) and thus now finds himself leading marketing efforts at Phiture.
Our bubly Office Manager has worked all over the world (and once looked after a herd of Alpacas) but she now ensures the smooth day-to-day running of Phiture HQ. Angela’s into white river rafting but definitely not into heights, which is ironic seeing how often she’s perched on a ladder. Sweating bullets, we imagine.
Thomas is an external full-stack marketer with more than a decade’s experience with 20+ web and app startups. When he’s not threatening to change his Linkedin title to ‘.csv master’, he brings strategic UA knowledge and tactics to the Phiture quiver. Whispering words like ‘App Store Economics’ and ‘Funnel Analysis’ will have him all flustered.
Abdulmajeed is a software engineer specializing in intelligent systems, with a background in mobile and web development, DevOps and system administration. He helps Phiture collect and process data, including insights from the App and Play Stores. A movie about his life would probably star Gerard Butler, but with fewer explosions. And more coding.
Join the team.
